Creation Audio Labs Holy Fire Classic Overdrive Pedal
What a sound! This awesome little box is one of the most transparent, responsive and interesting gain stage pedals I've ever tried. The gain control offers a clean boost and works as an output volume dial. The overdrive control adds soft clipping, but with heaps of headroom and clarity, so the transparency available is exceptional. The distortion control adds hard clipping and compression as you wind it up, so you can juice up your overdrive with a whisker, or dial a fluffy, bursting distortion as you get above midday. The controls are very interactive, so there's a heap of different sounds available with some experimentation. It runs on an included 48v supply, but it's really worth the extra plug. Juicy times.
