Epiphone Custom Shop Les Paul Standard Blue Sparkle 2009
Epiphone Les Paul Standard, blue sparkle, made in China 2009. That's an eyeful! This little stunner is a 'Custom Shop' model; basically a limited run finish on a standard model subjected to a little extra quality control. It's light and lively in the hands; some Epiphone LPs can feel a little dead and sound a bit nondescript, but this one is vibrant and enthusiastic in the hands. As such, the plugged-in tone is also great: heaps of bite and sparkle with a rich creamy midrange and plenty of thump. The neck is an easy slim 60s profile, easy to manage and instantly familiar. The finish is certainly unusual; it's basically a blue glitter/flake on top of a sweet pelham blue. It looks awesome by day and surely will look next-level-fantastic on stage under lights. You have my sincerest encouragement to also buy a full sparkly outfit to match.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. Quick note: it's very hard to see marks on this finish. Headstock and neck look pretty clean. The back has some light scuffs in the middle, no major marks. The sides have no noteworthy marks, just a couple of minor scratches on the jack plate. The front has some light play wear above and below the strings, nothing major. Overall: excellent condition (9/10).
Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, intonation is good, action is low, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Frets have minor wear only, 8/10 for fret life left. Setup with fresh 10/52 MOONSHINERS strings.
