Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Player Plus, satin ocean blue, made in USA 2018. Now and then, Gibson gets a bit sensible and brings back a cool model people have been asking about for ages. The Les Paul Deluxe is a 70s era icon, famed for a fast playing neck and a pair of Firebird-style mini humbucker pickups. The neck on this one great: it's an agreeable round profile, not too thick or thin, and with the bound board, fret nibs and cool inlays, it's all class. The sound is great: heaps of typical LP hefty low end, thick and rich mids... but, with a juicy sweetness on the top end that lends a bit of extra clarity and sparkle. The mini-hums are certainly a cool thing. The blue finish is awesome: it kinda reminds me of a pair of well-worn jeans. Or, the seaside in summer. Or... something else blue. It looks great anyhow, you're gonna love it.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has a couple of minor dimples on the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples and some glossing from play on the back only. The back has a couple of dimples in the middle of the body and near the neck joint and some scuffs in the elbow area and back edge, nothing nasty. The sides have a few dimples in the elbow area and some light scuffs and dimples on the bottom edge from the jack area to the bottom horn. The front has no major marks, just a couple of dimples behind the bridge and some rub wear in the elbow area and bottom horn. Overall: very good condition (8/10).
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working. The frets have minor wear only, 9/10 for fret life left. No headstock breaks. Setup with fresh 10/52 Moonshiners strings.
