Greg Bennett Royale RL-3 Quilted Amber 2003

Greg Bennett Royale, amber, made in Korea 2003. We've had a few of Greg's finest through the shop, and they're always solid guitars. This one dates to 2003 and was made at the Samick factory in Korea, which is generally a good start. The recipe is approximately-335-ish, with a set neck paired with a semi hollow body with a centre block, although it's a little smaller than a Gibson and has the quirky horn shape. The quilted maple top is lush, it's pretty wild to see on a guitar in this bucks bracket. The neck is comfy and quick; it plays nicely all the way up and down the neck. The pickups are Korean-made Duncan humbuckers, and they're very respectable too: clear, balanced, warm, full. This is heaps of guitar for the cash, Ol' Greg has done you a solid.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has dimples on the end and some  scuffs on the front around the posts. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, no major marks. The back has dimples in the elbow area. The sides have dimples on the horns and some scuffs in the elbow area. The front has minor dimples around the F-hole, horns and knobs and some minor play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/46 strings.
Fret life: 9/10, minor wear only
