LTD MH-417 Mirage Black Satin 2011
LTD MH-417, blacker than your sense of humour, made in Indonesia 2011. When this first arrived, I thought the model number was the same as that plane that went missing a couple of years back... turns out that was MH-17, so I was close; dang, it would've been so metal. Anyway! Here's a cool 7-string ready to chug up your life. LTD stuff is always well executed, and this has that classy feel in the hands: classy neck that's as quick as can be, easy access neck joint, super sturdy and comfy to play... that'll work fine. The tone is dark and menacing, with heaps of punch and focus and good balance of heft and clarity. This is a great little way into the realm of extended range guitars: easy to play, outstanding value, super solid. Now you can be Djeniffer Aniston and impress your djfriends.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has a dimple on the point on the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear on the back only. The back has light scuffs around the neck joint, ferrules and elbow area. The sides have some scuffs on the top horn and near the jack and some dimples in the elbow area. The front has dimples around the bridge, some rub wear up from the bridge pickup and in the elbow area and some play wear on the horns. Overall: very good condition (8/10).
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good. All electronics tested and working properly. The frets are in great order, 9/10 for fret life left. Wearing fresh 9-52 strings, tuned to standard with the low B.
